Join TUF in advocating for autism acceptance
Treat Us Fairly (TUF) is a non-profit organization advocating for autism acceptance. Our mission is to create a world where individuals with autism are treated with respect and dignity. We aim to provide support and resources to families and individuals affected by autism. Our goal is to promote awareness and education about autism to reduce stigma and discrimination. Through education, empowerment, and community engagement, we strive to dismantle barriers, challenge stereotypes, and promote understanding. We envision a future where every individual, regardless of neurodiversity, is embraced for who they are, respected for their inherent dignity, and afforded equal opportunities to thrive. Together, let us build a more compassionate and inclusive world where differences are celebrated, and everyone is treated fairly.
We are committed to creating a better world for individuals with autism. Our initiatives include community outreach programs, educational workshops, and advocacy campaigns. Through our multifaceted approach, we engage with communities far and wide, fostering meaningful connections and driving positive impact. Here's how our organization is deeply involved in the community:
Author Tyra Fairley wrote this book as a tool to teach children about autism through actions. As a child growing up with two autistic brothers, she didn't quite understand what autism is, let alone know the proper words to explain it to another child. She created this book to eliminate that disparity and raise acceptance amongst young readers.
